From what he described I will be working alongside their IT professional completing the following tasks: Managing and ensuring proper security of the company's website. - The company's website is nothing special, but I believe I will be using a CMS to update the content and design periodically. - I am unsure what I will be doing to ensure the security, but the owner was rather adamant about the site's cybersecurity Assisting with the administration of general cybersecurity and the development of new security measures - I suggested a full-scale penetration test that will test the other employees as well as the cyber security measures that are currently in place. The current IT chief was ecstatic to try this as he has been meaning to for some time. I have been researching and learning white-hat hacking since my interview and I too am very excited as I have yet to test my skills. - I am unsure of the current cybersecurity measures, but I am sure I will be briefed on how to manage them. They are likely to change once we run our penetration test The owner personally requested for one of the projects he would like me to complete be to use statistical software (I will likely use R) to gauge the best time for marketing posts, emails, etc. I thoroughly enjoy statistics so this will be a fun one.
