| Penn State University College of IST Learning Design | SRA | The IST Office of Learning Design and the Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs are looking to fill a joint Production Assistant/Web Developer position. Time spent as Production Assistant (for Learning Design) would support the development and delivery of online courses that are part of the College’s IST, SRA and MPS degree programs. This position is responsible for developing web content in Canvas, developing educational media with various tools, and working on a variety of additional projects depending on both the needs of the unit and the interests and experience of the applicant. The applicant who fills this position will work closely with the Instructional Design and Production teams. Time spent as web developer (for OUAA) would support the development and maintenance of the College of IST’s teaching and learning sites. Responsibilities include designing, creating, and maintaining web content in WordPress. The applicant who fills this position will work closely with the Director of OUAA to produce high quality web content that will be digested by a variety of audiences. This position requires critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork skills, a willingness to learn new software/programs, and an eye for design. HTML, CSS, and WordPress experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for candidates that can schedule at least 15 hrs./week.
