I work in the New Plants Business division, supporting the AP1000 projects. I support commercial and project operations. Main projects that I will be working on include the transition of the China projects into Operating Plants Business (OPB). This includes the systems and applications that are shared and used with the China customers and how this is transferred from the AP1000 processes and procedures to OPB as the plants move from project contract to commercial/operational. I will continue to support the oversight and reporting for China Wave 2 correspondence tracking and support for the US Vogtle Project correspondence and technical document processes. Additionally, I will be aiding in the planning and development of the tools and applications for communications and document transmittal processes for the “China Wave 3” project. My knowledge and skillset will be used to help determine how to proceed to meet the needs of the customer as well as ensure less burdensome efforts for our company. Throughout my years working for Westinghouse, I have grown to understand many of the tools and applications previously used and have continued to provide optimization and continuous improvement to help meet the needs of the projects.
