This is where I evaluate departmental needs and ensure PC platform standards meet those needs. While doing this, I also work with PC manufacturers to select reliable models that conform to imaging requirements. This relates to Cybersecurity as it is teaching me the ins and outs of a computer system and how to get familiar with them. Another responsibility of mine is client software management. This is where I am maintaining core and departmental workstation images. If any issues come up with the software or anything server based, it is my responsibility to detect what is wrong with it and how to fix it and prevent it from happening again. I also look at the analysis and testing of new and upgraded software, which includes developing and maintain a testing plan, and automating the deployment of these systems. This all relates to Cybersecurity as it is helping me become more familiar with different software's that keeps companies safe, and how to use and navigate them. Lastly, a responsibility of mine that relates to Cybersecurity is overall PC support. This is where I serve as a primary escalation resource for the Systems Support Analysts and others to help solve issues, whether it is on the server and has to do with software, or also directly relates to hardware.
