This is in addition to the normal office equipment. Some days I work at transmitter facilities. Other days I might be helping someone install software on their computer. For example yesterday I configured 4 vpn tunnels between a pfsense firewall and pepwave modems I will be deploying to mountain tops. This will be used to monitor and control equipment via SNMP. While working on this, a news reporter was having problems with her laptop. An application wasn’t launching correctly. I deleted a file in app data and it worked fine. Next year I will be managing a capital project installing licensed IP microwave links. Once installed these sites will be able to feed transmitters via transport stream over IP (TSoIP). These are projects I have been working on for years with Hearst Television. |
