DF provides the glue for all other initiatives that are to be built – so our mission is fairly time critical. * Helping to develop user/employee policies & guidelines as their pertain to our Enterprise systems * Helping to develop the IT & communications architecture and understanding its cyber implications * While lead up work for FEP has been underway the past 2 years – and the planning phase just completed (AUG/DEC2018), the execution of the FEP work is beginning on 07JAN2019 (the same day Alayna starts) – there are numerous start-up challenges with FEP from a cyber perspective including establishing appropriate patterns for deployment & testing of the infrastructure, the transition plan from legacy systems to new greenfield environment, as well as developing the materials to communicate these changes to Executive Leadership team, employee communications plan, etc. I’ve established a Mentor for Alayna that has Cyber experience – Michael Muckin - he our Deputy CISO for the Corporation. Alayna will be working closely with Michael & his team to help with the FEP roll out. |
